I find bullets all the time. Casings, etc. I throw them away. Found what I think was a shotgun shell on the last hunt.

    Foreign Coins
I have dug up 80 foreigns, most are modern Mexican, Canadian and Euros. But there are some interesting ones as well. As for photos, some are not in my possession anymore, some are in 2x2s which I don't want to photo thru or open.
Found a coin from Vanautu. I didn't even know where that was.
I found some Chinese coins (dateless) but the characters on them indicates they were late 1700's. These coins were produced in the billions, circulated for hundreds of years and have little value.
Some English pound coins that I can't cash in.
    1960 Mozambique 10 centavos
    Brazil 50 centavos
    1982 50 pesos Mexico
1988 1 ruble commemorative Maxim Gorky portrait
    1944 2 annas India
Some modern dime sized coins from Jamaica
1st time out my GF got a 1953 50 franc Morrocan coin

Some time soon I thought about hitting up and old barn from 1909 what is the probability of finding good stuff instead of rusty nails and junk?

Found 2 silver rings today. The big one is not stamped, but the signal and patina are good. It's probably a home made job but I will get it tested.
1949-S penny. I finish my last spot. I go to my car, and there is a quarter by the curb by my rear tire.

Wow,2 in one day!! I bet you were pumped. Finding the gold then 2 silvers. I love the 46,i think I've only dug 1 S mint mark coin. I haven't been able to get out at all this week. I'm hoping for a good hunt tomorrow. I have to bring something after that one Mike lol.

Another time I found 2 silver rings same site, only a few feet apart.
Another time I got one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
One time I had 3 silver rings, 2 at one spot and 1 at another.
Once I found 2 silver chains, and a silver charm. The other one had a charm that
was listed as silver, but it was fake.
One time I had a silver ring and a gold ring.
One time a silver ring and a silver dime.
One time I got a heavy silver ring and a silver earring.

But as for today the first one was a very good signal, and when I saw it, it looked good and I could see it was stamped. (Sterling). The second one I got a very good signal, and the patina looks right (and it's heavy) but we'll have to test it to make sure.

Do you still have all your the silver you found? And have you ever weighed it all? Just wondering because I once had a bunch of different silver rings and charms I had saved up. I sold it all to a friend with a smelter because he wanted to learn how to pour bars. It was like 170 at spot and that's what he paid me. But I was thinking all that silver adds up and I bet you have a nice chunk saved up. That's AWESOME!!

I have it all and I have weighed it all. I wouldn't melt it though.
After I cash in all the coins, I am keeping the silver, gold, dollar coins and halves. I am missing one nice silver ring I found 25 years ago.

Everything that I sold was stuff I had picked up along the way. Everything I've dug up I still have. I'm going out tomorrow, man this hunt is going to be good. New spot, big place with lots of traffic. Google mapped it a few towns over. Everything's pack ready to go. HH everyone.

It's always a thrill. Usually when I am pulling something up that's large, I think it is a Kennedy half. Sometimes it is and sometimes it is something else, a medallion,
a large foreign, etc. The first Eisenhower was deep and covered so I wasn't sure what it was until I was able to see the reverse. The 2nd Eisenhower was clean and I could see the face, and I couldn't believe it.

Broken clasp made this find possibly.the charm I'm pretty sure is real but the chain doesn't have any markings anywhere on it. I'll have to go have it tested. Even if it's not a real chain the charm is beautiful. It just doesn't seem as good because I didn't dig it up. But hey it's free gold YES! One of the quarters was a 83p which gave me a full roll of 82-83 mixed.

I had 2 rings tested that I thought were silver, one came back good. The one on the right from the last hunt is not silver.

It's a little disappointing, but I can't complain as the silver and gold has been very good the last 2 years. My GF buys silver and other materials and makes jewelry, so if I have something that needs to be tested (a silver ring with no stamp) they test it there for free no problem. Almost everything has come back good. Even pieces that I thought were no good. You can't force it. You find what you find.

I still have to get that chain tested. How much would it cost me do you think at like a jewelry store?

You go to a place where they buy and sell gold.
If it's fake they don't want it. If it's real, they make you and offer, and you tell them
you need to think about it. Test the cross too. No charge.
