Today I ran across what seems to be two 1960's DDO's. The first is a 1965 and the second is a 1967. They really seem to match up the the variety vistas photos, especially the R in TRUST. The 1967 also has the little die mark at about 2:00 above the top of the I in IN. On the the 1965 , GOD really stands out . Thanks for looking. Mike
Quite excellent. But in 40+ years of doing this, I can't recall ever wanting to see one of my coins so close up. Looking at those photos makes me kinda swimmy-headed. If I can't see it in my loupe, I don't want to see it at all.
for some reason ppl think you want to see specific locations up super close. When, for example, a 1965 DDO-003 has the top right of the "5" has the DDO, which one cannot see in the super close pictures above. Seeing the entire coin obverse and reverse seems to be a lost art as ppl think you have to use those USB Microscopes to see anything nowadays when we need the entire side not small segments of it.
As far as I know it is a free site. type in Varietyvista.com - and it should take you to their home page which has several tabs for the Lincoln cents and other coins. Thanks for looking, I had a couple of people that would like to see the whole obverse/ reverse. I went ahead and put these in holders but will take some more photos of not so magnified shots. "More 65 DDO" and "More 67 DDO" I had a couple of non believers also so I am still taking opinions. Mike

Another good reference site is Coppercoins.com. They are easy to navigate and they have cross references.
Yeah, I'm kinda of the opinion that — microbiologists aside — if you have to put something under a microscope to see it, it may not be worth seeing.
@Michael Bromiley as you've probably noticed, there isn't a lot of interest in micro doubled dies. Many times, it's easy for experienced members to weed out the MD, but if it's marginal, you're probably on your own. There are a couple members like @Rick Stachowski who are extremely knowledgeable but my recommendation is to become familiar with Wexler doubled die, variety vista sites. If this area of the hobby interests you, don't let the discouraging posts bother you. Keep building your knowledge. IMO, I think you guys are nuts, but I'm sure some of my numismatic interests are a little esoteric
Thank you for your compliment. _ I see that your badge says well know member so that means a lot to me. Mike
Eh, don't get carried away with that. It just means we've been around here for a while. Doesn't mean we actually know anything.
