I am going to offer some good old country wisdom here...... I been posting here a little better than a year. Still a new member to CT, really. What I have gleaned in my short time here is that 99% of the folks posting are actually quite supportive of others. We have members ranging in age from very young to very old. We are all here to enjoy this hobby together and until now have had little concern for the age bracket one or the other happened to fall into.

Now, you been a member less than a week. You have succeeded in raising others ire in at least two threads that I have witnessed...... Just imagine for one minute inviting a new guest into your home that proceeds to immediately create tension among your long standing guests. Well, you would likely invite that new guest to leave.

Now I am not suggesting you leave at all. Simply painting a picture for you. I would humbly ask that you step back a second. Start posting photos of your collection. Tell us something about yourself and less of your opinions of others. Try to be a welcome member of this community and not what to all outward appearances is a troublemaker. Please.

I was not defensive sobbing nor was anyone else, we just tried to give our 2 cents.

I am not offended at all, but as other have said we are here to collect coins not to judge others.

I agree with this, which is why I thought I toned down my last post before I got back.
But yea we are here to learn, collect or show off our coins, there is always reddit for political or whatever else non related to coins. :)

You are correct, I have a problem at times not going explaining or giving good examples about the subject being talked about so I do apologize for that.

I try as hard as I can to have a open mind, many years ago I was a different person but thanks to reading articles, talking with people and learning new things I am the man I am today and continue to evolve mentally.

Okay, to try and get back to the original discussion...

There was a time when you could take your bills and exchange them for gold or silver. Then that was stopped, and now our dollars aren't backed by a store of any metal by the government. But I can ask someone to break a dollar and get coins that actually have some intrinsic value depending on the melt value if nothing else.

Yes, the economy seems to be running on bits and bytes and bookkeeping, so it looks like it's cashless, but I think there are assets being moved around, and it's cash.

And once again a newbie who has been here a whole 6 days!
Just another troll who like to stir it...Like the dude yesterday asking a question about a Peace dollar. A few senior members tried to give him rock solid answers to his questions..... and the like a mad dog.... begins to bite the hand that feed him!
This is a great forum is it perfect no.... but for the most part the members here are willing to try and answer or help in any way.
I'm going to echo Randy .....Statement except for one part.....and that part is this...
We aren't here to debate stats unless it deals with coins and the collection of,as well other segments of numismatics.
We aren't here to debate that the introduction of
"Spam" on the Hawiian islands is the reason that the population suffers from being over weight!
We are here to educate, learn and share a passion we as members have here.
Perhasp the members here aren't on your intellectual level......and thank god for that! As we have members from every walk in life.
Over the last 10 years I have become part of this family, like most families we do have issues.....no one is perfect! No family is perfect!
But I will tell you this .....and that is this...the members here are "genuine" in many ways. We come from many back grounds, and beliefs however.....
We support each other durring both the good and bad times.
We mourn the loss of our members,we mourn with members when they loose their dog or cat!
We support ,and we give....I can ot tell you how many randon acts of kindness have occured over the last year alone!
We take care and watch over our older members, as well help, educate, and offer good sound advice to our Younger members. We plant a seed and watch it grow.
Perhasp after 6 days this isn't the place for You! As you seem that you believe you're above the membership here..... let me a sure you the members here be they male or female put their pants on one leg at a time.
They come from every aspect in life....but for the last 10 years I've seen people like you come and go..... and like you I always give them some parting advice don't let the door hit you...where the good Lord split you!

I don't think Millenials will be the ones killing coin roll hunting. I think greed on the banks parts with the cost of having to deal with physical money will be. There will be a lot of different things that add up to this, not just one thing.
I will add that I find it funny that the ones who scream the loudest about the millennial's ruining the world are in fact, the biggest cry babies of them all because they refuse to see anything other than that. It consumes them to no end and they in turn end up being the ones who sob and whine relentlessly.

The reason people like me "go" (and to be sure, I'm "going" to- goodbye) is because the user base is dumber than a bag of hammers (site's literally moderated by a liar) and offers little to no credible value into market insights, beyond factoids about die varieties.

Again do it quickly....as trolls like yourself hold No merit here!
And the mods here even though I don't agree with them always are some of the fairest around.
Just be glad that I'm not a mod as you my friend would of been on the express lane out of here.
You bring nothing to this site but your contempt and try and stir up crap.
Classy you are far from having any class what so ever! So again go spread you message elsewhere as members here don't need or appreciate such on this forum.
Lastly" the reason people like you go" is that the members and mods can see right through your attemp to cause problems.....you think you're so slick....you read like a cheap paper back.....from a used book store.
