I bid on about 25 lots and was high bidder on several. The lucky new owner of all those coins will save untold hours cataloging them, thanks to Frank’s work. Thru the years, I have found many Asian coins such as those in the Vietnamese auction in junk boxes, with many yet to be attributed.

Frank deserves every dime of the auction income and more.

 

Well slightly disappointed... I ordered the 9 coins listed above via email.. received a response of " Thanks for your order - will send with bill".
.. and only received 6 in the mail today. Was only charged for the coins that came of course. So all good. Perhaps this is how it always works and he accepted my order as the majority hadn't been sold? Oh well. Will post what I received when I get some time.

Fair for sure .. just a little disappointed when I opened the envelope.

 

I was late to the game but I ordered a few of what was left. Since I don't have a particular focus, that doesnt matter to me. I am looking forward to seeing them when they come.

 

Of course, right after I posted, my coins arrived in the mail. A bit dissapointed that only 4 of 5 showed up. The one I was most interested in getting (HERENNIA ETRUSCILLA Viminacium, Æ28, Moesia betw lion & bull) was apparently snatched up by someone else. Oh well, I guess that's how it goes. Still ended up with some interesting pieces. I am using the

Hi @furryfrog02 - I'm the culprit on the Herennia Etruscilla piece. I was surprised it was still available after a while of the sale but I emailed Frank and got it. Sorry. I lost out on a coin of her son Herennius Etruscus (antoninianus) because someone bought it within the first twenty minutes of the sale.

 

I guess I will let it slip this time... Especially since I have never participated in a sale like this and didn't really know what I was doing. Glad it went to a good home.
