ok you smart A--- win ! I have never tried to learn or even be a part of a group with so many rude hateful people not just to me but hundreds of others who just want to learn or ask a question they don't know. from some one with some knowledge . it is ashamed that you are not willing to help others with out your cutting people down or be lilting them .I have taken your insults for the last time I am sure their are sights that are not quite as hung up on them selves as some of you are . there are some exception there are some very smart people that have been very help I wish to thank them all. you know what list you belong on .treasure hunt your at the top along with to many to mention paddy man I thought you were trying to help guess not . I have not told this because I didn't want to use it as an excuse but I have Parkinson this is part of my treatment to help me stay focused and with my coordination that's why the picture aren't as good as they should be the tremors make hard not to be shaky . it affects my memory so it gets hard to remember some of the research. I know I should put this on a thread by it self but what good would that do . I guess I am just really disappointed '
.so with that I want bother you any more

Here's what a 1984 doubled ear should look like.
    Hope it helps.

OK @rootintootin 55, hope you feel better after that rant, but you totally overreacted to @Treashunt. ;)

3 of the 5 pics you posted are totally useless & unnecessary, & quite frankly, had he not made a humorous comment, either myself or another probably would have. :p

You've only been a member for 5 months, so you don't have much experience with us, but you should realize that along with the vast amount of expertise & knowledge dispensed here, we do like to have fun & will make comments (many toward other members & not directed @ the OP). :hilarious:

You are not a bother & tend to have interesting posts, but to optimize the help you get, you have to help us with better pics. It's not hard to stabilize a camera & you don't need excessive closeups.

Hope you hang in & continue to participate!;)

Hang in there rootintootin we all have to fight our way through this life. I try to roll with the punches but do get offended by a few members posts.

on another note, what you may want to do is start putting your questions/findings in a MS Word or other document for yourself. Then you can build up your own library of information to help you along the way and have it as a handy reference.

There's so much to learn, and even more to forget (for all of us) !!

Rootintootin 55, you need to calm down a little bit. The guys and gals on here are very knowledgeable about coins. These people have years and decades of studying and collecting coins. They are not trying to be rude. They call it as they see it. They get bombarded with coins everyday they love the coin collecting hobby and there expertise is very valuable. Sometimes they do make remarks that could be considered rude, but when you look at thousands of coins as these folks have they know what they are doing. They could start a different website and charge for their expertise, but they volunteer to do this. They don't get paid to share their knowledge of coins. They are here to help beginners learn about a great hobby. I have been on here for a little over a year and consider myself as still a beginner. I have a lot to learn and will probably never have the knowledge these people have. You have to be able to take some criticism and not let it bother you. Sometimes some of what you are calling rude you have to realize that maybe they are having a bad day and their comments might come across as rude. But these people are not trying to be rude. Just remember they are here to help others learn about coins.

Think there's a 97 ear too? I can't remember what that one looks like either. Sometimes us novice take a beating. But overall if you keep your cool. Most will help you. God bless @rootintootin 55
