1972 Lincoln cent questions.

    I was curious to know if there is something going on with either the rim or memorial of this cent. I tried to get best pictures I could. I looked at some varieties for this cent but I have come to the conclusion if I stare at something long enough I can see about anything. I found nothing on the rim but I did on memorial. The center bay just looked very odd to me as well as thicker pillars throughout. I just don't know and really don't want to toss it it is something.     It looks like it is a itsy-bitsy, teenie-weenie, slightly misaligned die.

    Correct.. Minor Misaligned Strike. Nothing really major.
    I have seen a lot of Cents with the same issue that were minted in the early 1970's

    Thanks for looking I just never noticed any of the other ones to have flat outside the rim or concave rim. Maybe after a look at a few thousand more I will find more like this.
