Hi guys, wasn't too sure if this belonged in the error forum or would be ok to post within the US forum. I have recently aquired what I believe to be an unattributed '66 No FG SMS and wondered if anyone could share opinions on the matter. It is straight graded, but does not carry the No FG Designation. Is this because someone skipped on the attribution fee on the submission form or even possible it was graded before the TPG started attributing the '66 as No FG? I don't collect Kennedy's so I don't have an answer for you. It's quite possible that the original submitter didn't ask for the attribution. Did you cross reference the generation of the PCGS holder with the time they began attributing the No FG for the SMS series? That may also answer one of your questions.

The holder is the latest holder since 2015. It is an SP67 and auction record is a 67 back in 2014 so I assume they were attributed since at least 2014. I guess the answer leans more towards someone missing the boat on the attribution...Figured this one would get some response from Kennedy collectors pretty quick.

I'm sure you'll get some more opinions. They are a plenty on the forums! LOL.

I'm betting someone didn't want to pay the extra for the attribution.

The '66 has definitely been recent news to me after hunting the 72D No FG for a little bit now. Maybe they just didn't know what they had altogether. I wouldn't have 2 weeks ago myself!

How much are 66 No FGs worth by chance?

I've just posted a question last week about the SMS.

Must've back spaced one too many times in that response.. Anyways, I misread and thought that you were asking what an SP66 was worth, but saw you meant as a whole. The lower grades up until SP66 don't seem to show much desirability and prices seem low, but for overall pricing, I know the SP67 is a record auction so far at just under $2400. There's an SP68 on ebae right now with an ask price of $15k but it's the only SP68 in population so who knows what it will actually go for.
