That coin has just enough vibrancy of color and evenness of the toning to warrant a star IMO. That is a great looking coin.

I say yes to the latest '58 D Franklin. Very attractive. Should get a star.

Yes for the Star on the Franklin

    -----
People can still give their opinion of the Kennedy from the prior page until @physics-fan3.14 tells us if it got the star or not.

Kennedy, nice toning but no star.
    Franklin, yes to star.

No star on the Franklin for me due to the uneven toning. Looks like there was a piece of tape or something that would have been on the obverse.

No star on the Franklin. It is graded MS66 FBL at NGC.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The JFK has a star, and I like it with the star.

I don't think the Franklin earns a star, but it is really close. If the purple on the obverse were just a little bit more pronounced, or if there was just a bit more green on the reverse, I think it would have easily gotten it.

@physics-fan3.14 : What is the Kennedy Half graded? With the obverse cheek abrasions, I was thinking maybe 63? I do like the toning on that one!

It was graded 64*. The cheek abrasions are pretty severe, but the rest of the coin is pretty clean - and the luster is amazing.
