IN MEMORIAM C. IVL. CAESAR Tomorrow has always been considered a sad , treacherous day for me. In honor of the fallen general , everyone please post all your IDES of MARCH denarii !!!
Well it would be a short thread if you waited for an IDES OF March Denarius But that is a beauty for a large Julius portrait Octavian. My only two of the great man, A Dupondius 46 BC and a Macedon 28 BC.

1: The eids was considered the 13th to the 15th (though I know it is widely considered the 15th) so I have no problem with it being posted on the 14th and am loving the coins and the post! B: JC has always held a special spot in my heart as it was this fouree given to me by my father that started my journey into ancients. That and the fact that we were both stabbed 23 time on the same day! And one of my favs due to the CM "R" (for Ryro obviously).
