Why is it when everyone disagrees with the OP that they immediately think, "I need better pics!" Just shoot the poor thing and put it out of its misery. Chris
Mint as in Philly yes. I may be new here but I'm not an idiot. Thanks for your kind heart feelings. Haha.
According to Wexler (link below) quarter dies were produced via single squeeze from 1997 and all dies from 1999. Take as you will. http://doubleddie.com/58201.html (near the very bottom of the page)
True . But those were struck from the old presses . The Schuler Presses weren't installed, til 2002 . Also, Single Squeeze Hubbing was introduced in the 80s . https://conecaonline.org/so-just-when-did-single-squeeze-hubbing-begin/
nooooooo then someone is gonna post that coin in the future and ask how much the Mint error is worth becz why would any one damage it like that?
And, when they get the correct answer here, they will say, "I'll take some better pics when I get home from work!" Chris
So? If the subject is how dies are produced, does the press really matter? The subject is a quarter, so I addressed a quarter. Context matters.
Granted, you and I and most of the others here know that "better pictures" is just a waste of time. I don't know why it is that someone thinks that better pictures will make a difference. Chris
