Is there a website that shows ALL of the different designs that have appeared on the reverse of Lincoln pennies? My second grade class is learning about coins and this would be a fun treasure hunt for them and just might be the beginning of future hobbyists!
you can try here https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/small-cents/ a Red Book of US Coins would help too.
Buy a (spiral bound) copy of the Red Book. It doesn't cost that much, and it has a world of information about every coin that has ever been used or produced in the US since colonial days. It's published annually, but you really don't need to buy one every year. Chris
You should know (and what would make it really fun for your class, I think) is that the 2009 had four different designs, depicting four different stanges of Lincoln's life, in commemoration of Lincoln's 200th birthday (of of the Lincoln penny's 100th birthday). You can see them here: https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/2009-lincoln-pennies-4071198 and http://2009lincolnpennies.com/
It contains more information which makes it impossible for someone to examine a coin with a loupe and hold the book open at the same time. That's why I prefer the spiral bound edition. Chris
