I found a penny in my like mound of coins and it looks like it could be miss-dyed, does that happen in pennies? Like what should I look out for how do I know it isnt just a penny covered in crap?
Dis-colored may be a more appropriate description. There are many reasons for that among copper cents.
I think he could of also meant miss-dyed as a Strike error.. Off-Center Die Strike, Misaligned Die Strike etc.
I understand the Mis Dyed statement I was just hoping that the OP would elaborate on what he is asking because it is a little vague. He could mean Tye Dyed as if the coin has a lot of color. But we will never know without a photo. Please post a photo so that we can help. @alex7771
Slightly a different style. Thai is the origin. I spelt it wrong. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tie-dye
