Let's just say that is one of the "easiest" coins I came across tonight.. There are more to be posted. Please be lenient! thank you.
You're looking at some die deterioration doubling or MD mixed with a whole heck of a lot of circulation wear. Not a doubled die.
Now, see! That is a big problem. First, you waste your time trying to find a prince, and then you expect us to waste our time explaining why when you should have the common sense to know why. Chris
Girl expecting a prince...find a 1972 doubled die photo of what a 1972 doubled die looks like. There are different stages of the DDO. This pic is what it supposed to look like. Borrowed photo not mine...
Time spend to find a prince is not considered to be wasted. It's called educating yourself. When I find something, I look it up to find something similar. When I fail to find something similar, I tend to avoid counting on MY experience only, soooo I post it on this fine community of experts. C'mon Chris,Why are you trying to hurt my feelings??
I did find a photo of 1972 DD. Plenty actually; of all 10 types and of all the stages. I keep variety vista and LCR as my guide and temple. Like I said tho, I assume to get some assistance when I see something that looks weird to my eyes without jumping to conclusions by myself. Thank you for your time!
I will be buying 1 of these soon. April coin show in Vegas. If they have 1 there. I saw 2-3 The Penny Lady Charmy had some nice ones. Not cheap either $500+
