2008-D Alaska Quarter(ExtraBearClaw)

Was wondering if anybody could help me determine if this Denver Alaska Quarter would b worth any more? Less? or the same as the Philly error coin....seems i can't find anywhere about a Denver Extra bear claw just the Philly...so i'm lost to weather it would b any more valuable even thou its condition is not the best. Well thanks for Stopping by and thanks for any help.
Also this coin i got yesterday from change given to me from a gas station here in San Antonio. Happy Hunting everybody

Meow would like to know where one can learn about all such errors somewhere. As Meow has not ever heard of the coin you showed. Is there a website that lists all such errors? As a CRH Cat, Meow wants to know what to look for, to find little treasures for the Cat hoard.

 

I knw there is the cherry pickers guide but i dnt have one yet i just hv the red book 2019 but that doesn't tell you all the errors...Well this RuffRuff thanks u 4stopping in lol

Hmmm. Meow has watched the Video. Meow will say that, Meow scrutinizes each coin much more than this guy. It was entertaining though. Meow thought quite a few times, "Meow would have stopped and looked at that one much closer." But he does have a good demeaner and style. Maybe he goes through them fast so its more entertaining. Maybe watching a Cat paw one coin for 30 seconds would take too long to film, and be too boring.

 

Meanwhile, Somewhere in Alaska..

 

Since he is already there, that Cat should check if the Bear has that extra claw.

Meow is not a Hemingway Cat, so does not have any extra claws on the paws.

 

Meow has watched several more of this guys Vids. Meow finds it informative, and very entertaining. Thanks for sharing the link.

 

There is nothing extra-special about the "Extra Claw". It is just a common die chip and should not command a premium. The problem you will find is that there is no definitive classification system for common errors like die chips, grease-filled dies, die cracks, etc. If someone tried to catalog all of them, they would need a book many, many, many, many times larger than the Cherrypickers Guide.
