With that large accumulation of 70 years, it is ironic that I have been able to find several different variations in the same date and mint. In this case I found another "ghost" in another 1950 S. It is much less visible, but it does seem to be there. I wonder if, as a child or as a teenager, I saw something in a coin and didn't know what it was, and just put them in my stash.
