5 liberty head nickels. 5 for 4 dollars the 1944 D nickel was Free. The Mercury dimes were a 1.00 each. Trying to complete my liberty v nickels and my Mercury dimes. Just want the circulation kind. And the 1953 2 dollar red seal for 3 dollars. And a book that has been filled almost completely. Missing only the 55 double die 1960 small date and a 1966 D. Got the price down too 6$.
Yep, I've got some Liberty nickels but my favorite in your haul is the Library of Coins Lincoln cent book. It might be interesting if the dealer has the 1909-40 Library of Coins book. Have fun with the new material.
Wow! I was thinking $6 is a reasonable price for a 1940- set of Lincolns, but that album would probably get that much even empty. And I'll take all the Mercs anyone's willing to sell me at 10 cents below melt, even (especially?) if silver's just had a big drop...
You got a really good deal! At the coin shop I go to, red seal 2s used to be worth $3, but are now worth $5. I found a 1953 $2 with torn corners in circulation recently. Also, mercury dimes are typically more than $1. $1.50-$2 My circulation find:
The book shows there is a 1966 D. In my other Lincoln memorial doesn't have one? Is it a proof or something? I looked it up it didn't show anything on it.
there are no 1965, 1966 or 1967 D coins, check the ones in the holes, looks like someone put philly coins in there, these were the SMS years..
By the way what is this? Is it just a stamp? I thought until the black line doesn't go over the A it's goes under. Number 4 along with it.
Looks like a bank stamp. It must have been at the top of a newly delivered bill stack to some bank in the 1960s.
