Hi. I have a 99D,96D and an 84D Lincoln pennies with close AM's. Does anyone know where to find people who might want them?
I don't want to burst your bubble, but read this http://www.lincolncentcollection.com/closeamwideam.html before getting your hopes up.
Cents from those years are SUPPOSED TO HAVE A CLOSE AM. They're worth nothing above face value. Nobody will buy them from you.
Think of it this way: if you have it, it's nearly certain it's not the rare one. Start with THAT thought as your starting point.
I don’t know how you all Stay so nice and have patience for this! I’m trying to learn about my coins and errors before bluntly asking how much it’s worth and on every single post is “I have this penny and how much is it worth?” I’ve learned this: if you want to know the value of a coin....go on eBay and look under SOLD ITEMS and it will give you a general idea of price. Also, do some research!
It’s just beyond frustrating when your trying to find stuff and read and post after post after post is the same. Then you all are so kind to say “upload a picture” again and agin and again! I figured all you coin collectors must be beyond patient!
Yes, Nicole gets it and others. This same "nonsense" occurs over on my rail history threads without even a simple Google search for basic info. Folks that are SO social media savoy appear to also want you/us to answer any question without an ounce of effort... Sad. Note it is not restricted to millennials, but a disease among the lazy.. :-(
A 1984 d close am. I tried it my internet must be broke. It says it didn't start until 93, though some 1992s have been found.
No, it's not broke. It actually worked quite well for you. There are no CAM/WAM varieties for 1984. These are the only CAM/WAM varieties. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html
