Not only does this coin display Monster Toning , it was also mounted reverse side up in the slab. Is that something PCGS really does?

Yes PCGS and NGC will reverse slab it if you ask them to.

This, however, makes me think he enhanced it with the "saturation" mode in his photo editing program. Looks at all the blues within the holder itself in your pic above.

No - just curious about the upside-down slabbing.

Kinda hard to believe that got a market acceptable grade.:(

I wonder what it looks like in hand...as I agree with the earlier post about color enhancement. Someone ran this photo through photoshop or lightroom or a similar program to enhance to colors. In hand, it might look very market acceptable.

I doubt the coin looks anything like that in hand. That thing has been juiced like crazy.

  15. If they did enhance the photo, they actually are shooting themselves in the foot because the toning looks fake.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure the wink emoji that didn't work was supposed to hint at sarcasm.

Look at the photo PCGS has on their website at PCGS verify.

What is this 'monster' that coin accumulators like to bandy about ? Everytime I read that description of a silver sulfide impaired, color challenged silver coin, I get this picture in my mind:

Tarnish is tarnish, but Tone is a vintage hip hop artist:
