The 1921 Morgan is very common. Between the three mints, Philly, Denver & San Fran, 80 million 1921 Morgans were struck. Chris
Fountain Pens? Feel free to post about them in the General Discussion Forum. I'm sure we will read and learn about them.
Wow! That’s a great buy for $20. The melt value of the coins alone is well over what you paid. Welcome to the site FYI NEVER CLEAN COINS. Cleaned coins are obvious to the trained eye and lose most, if not all, of their collector value.
$20? That might be their face value alone, disregarding the fact that all the coins (except maybe the Ikes) are silver. Fantastic buy.
Also, the album of Franklins you have, if complete, will be worth a nice premium if you decide to sell it. Melt value for a Franklin half is $6 alone, but, if assembled in an album, a set will be worth significantly more (per coin).
Are you selling the morgans by chance? My father collected them and I feel I should finish what he has started.
Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Here's a link to an auction of a full set of Franklin halves on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-S...h=item5d88063ae7:g:JP8AAOSwlltccLtf:rk:1:pf:0 $30-$40 premium over the coins' melt value so far.
wait that's the same book you showed us? lol how much did you get it for? You said silver melt value right
