I know it's a common run, but I wasn't sure whether it could be classified as a low number.

 

Spender, unless you collect strictly from circulation or just plain like it. Personally, I have to see a minimum of 5 leading zeros to be considered a low serial number.

 

You can always go with the “hold it until you find a better one” plan. It’s often what I do.

 

I have a better one with Sn B00093001*, so I'll probably spend it.
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I just don't usually hold onto notes that have little value over face.

 

How is B0009... better than B0004...? (Because it has more 0s in it?) In that case, I would keep both since B0004... is a lower serial number than B0009....

Am I missing something?

Another question about value I had-
I’ve been holding onto these notes. Would their serial numbers be classified as “low”?

 

No. I need to see a 5 zero start to be considered low.
