    The VDB is incuse, and usually what looks like doubling is just MD, not DD. If it was DD, then it would likely be thinner, not wider. The eye lid I'm not sure about; most likely a platting blister as @Collecting Nut noted.

    It makes no difference..... Penny....cent..... cent.....Penny......who cares ? It doesn't change the value of a coin

    What does the coin state its value is? A cent! Yes it makes a difference in what we call them and we like to be correct and use the right terminology and no, the value doesn't change.
