Hey guys. So this may just be MY luck but it seems like almost every time I get a great, cheap win on a much better more valueable coin (especially large cents it seems) i get a refund and no or a lame reason. Is it just me? Thanks yall
I’ve done a lot of deals on eBay and that hasn’t happened to me yet (knock on wood). What excuses do they give?
It's just the sellers gaming the system trying to save face over selling a coin they felt sold for too little. They start their auctions low to gain interest and have bidders get excited and compete over each other. When their plan doesn't work as well as intended they will issue a refund, keep the coin off the system for a while, and then relist it when they feel the time is right.
Tyanks NOS. Thats pretty much what I figured. I refused to use ebay for a long time because..well...i hate ebay..BUT....it does serve its purpose and Ive recently given in. Ive also recently won a few, what I thought were REALLY good coins for cheap, only to get a refund and some lame excusr. Or no excuse. Try try again i guess....thanks yall
There’s no reason to “hate” eBay. Just buy from trusted dealers with a selling history. I’ve received all the coins I bought online so far.
