Hello everyone. Im new to coin talk and this is my first posting. I have been collecting coins sense I was 10 but didnt know anything about what I was doing. Recently I went through all of the coins Most of them were fine perfect conditions but there were a few that stuck our. Do they look important to anyone? If so could you please tell me why. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

The wheatie is PMD=Post Mint Damage.

The 84 D, reverse is PMD, but the mark on the obverse looks raised and might be a die crack or gouge. A closer pic would help determine that.

I see you liked my posted comment.

Hope you're not seeing $$ in your eyes, die cracks and gouges are a regular occurrence at the Mint, and usually don't add any premium.

Nevertheless, they are always cool to find. Nice find, and welcome to CT!

Die cracks and gouges are yes. I only wanted to point out to the new member these are regular occurances and don't add any premium to value.

I came across this 84D penny with a crack that go all the way around the rim behind the lettering on the face, and can be seen on the back side also.
