Do you know what an actual Doubled Die is? Because you just had 2 guys (not including myself with my paltry 7ish years) who have decades of experience with errors and varieties tell you “no”. If you need resources to read up about the minting process and houw doubled dies are made, let me know. I will gladly provide them to you.
No. Im agreeing with them because they are right. Your coin is not a doubled die. Do everyone a favor and read up on different kinds of doubling, including real doubled dies and worthless doubling, then come back and fight the case that your coin is a true doubled die.
Yes they do...they are on here trying to help others learn. Just so you know DDR = Doubled Die Reverse (back of the coin) and the 5 is on obverse (front of the coin). You should visit error-ref.com and learn some more before you start insulting others. What you are seeing with the 5 is worthless doubling common on copper plated zinc cents. Maybe you should find a coin buddy to hold your hand and break it down for you kindergarten style.
Coin Roller, if you go to your profile page , by clicking on your profile name, you can add anyone to the "Ignore list" , which means you won't see their post directly. Jim
The previous posters are correct. It isn't doubling, What you're seeing is caused by die deterioration. The guy you want to block gave you a really good link that will help you learn about errors. If you haven't already blocked him, look it up and visit that site. It will be time well spent
Name change doesn't change the attitude. You come and ask "is this a doubled die" and then tell experts they're wrong. I honestly don't know why you're allowed to be here. Look up photos of actual 1995 doubled dies and you'll see the difference. They have to match!
