Whole lot for $12 dollars. One of my nicer 2 cent pieces now, even with the scratched obverse. Slightly rotates reverse.
I finally have an good entry for this thread. I gambled on some bad ebay pictures and this showed up at my door. I think I did well for 32.16 dollars! Let me know what you think!
Is there some dark toning or just shadowing on the obverse at ERTY? I have seen and own coins in these small soap slabs that have a dark toning in that area. Nice coin.
All of the 1993 Penny-Wise issues in MS+++. There were two other sets up for auction about the same time. $25
Sweet pick.....got to love it when you strike pay dirt. There's nothing like the first rush when you discover you found a rare variety. The problem is waiting till you get out of sight to start the victory dance. I am very fortunate that the dealers here know I'm a picker and don't mind as many times I give them a heads up that there is more meat on the bone on a coin I'm not interested in....but they do know I pick them all the time.
It's been 4 years since I cherry picked my 1st lowball 1C. I have not seen another until this past month. Lo and behold 3 examples showed up on the bay. The first I missed the auction closing, the second I won and have yet to receive it. It's stalled out at the ups - usps hand off. I really hate UPS innovations. This one I did receive thankfully....
