    Really had no need for it...I already own several examples of the die marriage...just can't make myself pass them up.

    1872 s MPD -002 V-5 bottom of 2 in gown , the realistic cause of these MPD's are dropped date punches. The weight of the punch dropped would only inflict minimal damage on the obv. Working die. So small fragments of the punches number would be more likely.
    837,000 mintage # of working dies obv . 4 rev. 4.

    I found these in bank rolls today at work. I find Wheat Pennies all the time but this is probably the nicest one I've found
