Is this some kind of doubling

    I believe that Lincoln's face bow tie and coat are some how doubled slightly raised and right. Although my eyes do like to play tricks on me. If by some of chance it is how would this occur.     Also to add to my delusion on the rim above trust and turned clockwise I see top of an S and top of a t. I don't think it's really doubled die have no idea what it would be if anything but with mechanical doubling does it go that far out with detail.
