So in a recent lot, I've aquired amongst other bronze coins this curious little one:
    imgonline-com-ua-twotoone-iynGXvr0y6Bb.jpg
    Diameter 11mm, weight 0.98 g.

I have some troubles identifying this coin, partly due to its size. It shows some resemblance with Domitian's quadrans (http://numismatics.org/ocre/results..._facet:"Quadrans"+AND+material_facet:"Bronze") with a helmeted Minerva.

    Any hints?
Also, I was suprised by the small size of 11mm, with still some details showing. Would love to see some similary sized coins!

Looks like a barbarous VRBS ROMA. They are common, but not as common as other types. Reverse should be the wolf suckling twins Romulus and Remus.

E: It could also be an imitation of Constantinople, or a mule of the two.

    For reference/comparison:

I can't tell much from the photo, but I do see a similarity to this coin:
    Domitian (81-96). Æ Quadrans (16mm, 2.19g, 7h). Rome, 81-2. Helmeted head of Minerva r. R/ Olive branch. RIC II 240. Good VF
    (https://www.acsearch.info/search.ht...s=1&thesaurus=1&order=1&currency=usd&company=)

    and this one:
Domitian AE Quadrans. 84-85 AD. IMP DOMIT AVG GERM, helmeted & draped bust of Minerva right / S C within laurel wreath. BMCRE 484.

Can you make out anything on the reverse?

You need a lot of imagination to visualize an image on this coin o_O.
