1981 Penny- Die error Or damage?

Hey guys! I tried to take close pics. I don't see it bisecting completely. So, it does start from the rim on the word TRUST and it seems to me that it ends at L of LIBERTY. It is raised, but I 've never seen anything like it. Plus there is a different color tone between the two "parts" on the obverse. Should that indicate for an experienced eye that it is an beautiful error or just a beautiful damage? I have no clue. Opinions needed!! Thank you !!!

it's stained .. the multi colors.
slight misaligned die.
and maybe a long die crack of the thing going from shoulder through nose to the outer rim.
