While reviewing the US Mint product schedule I noticed a fall release for the 2019 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set. I am on subscription for a Silver Proof set every year (just because I like them) and 1 Silver American Eagle proof coin. I haven't read anything about whether this years limited edition set will have any "exclusive" coins or whether it will be just like last years. Any insights would be appreciated.
I imagine it will be like this: https://catalog.usmint.gov/united-states-mint-limited-edition-2018-silver-proof-set-18RC.html
@furryfrog02 , that's what I thought, but I was hoping they might include a "S" mint American Eagle this year.
Do not let redundancy annoy you..........fancy packaging with stuff you already have. Save your bread.......
Hi Ken. Thanks for your reply. I agree with you. That's one of the reasons I stipulated that I do buy a Silver Proof Set and a Silver Eagle on subscription. How have you been? Any NEWPS you care to share? I just started viewing the boards again last month. Spent some time away last year due to heavy workload/travel.
Good as gold, my friend. As for newps, I've got to yet type up my FUN show report.........so remiss, but it is 'Heaven' here in Central Florida.
Can't wait to see them. And winter has finally come to MI! February has been a bear. Only 6 more weeks...lol.
It was just an interesting side thing at the show. The commems were abysmally over priced (for the most part)........
I've been trying to add some commems to my collection, but I'm not as interested as I was a couple years ago. I finally found a Connecticut that I liked, at a price I was willing to pay. I sold my '26 Oregon because I didn't care for the toning and I thought it was over graded. To many contact marks on the leg for a 66 IMO. I'd like to replace it, but I'm in no hurry.
They will be. All the rest of the silver coins this year are .999 fine, why would the silver coins in the limited edition set be something else?
Extra, Extra! Read all about it ... https://www.coinworld.com/news/prec...ion-proof-set-coins-struck-in-999-fine-silver
After the commems were made in .999, and the regular silver proof sets were made .999, did anyone really think the limited edition sets would not be made in .999 fine silver?
