im using my computer camera because i dont have a cell phone or any other thing to take pictures with.

 

You can still remove it from the 2x2. That should help a little.

remember, it's already be mis handled. You know how to handle it properly. Being out of a 2x2 won't affect it .. unless you drop it, then drop a hammer on it, which bounces it over to a working grinder, etc. But, don't let that happen.

I do, I've used it to pound domed pennies on a mini-anvil for my daughter for her artsy hobby to give it that kewl steel drum look.

Remember to put the coin on something and try to prop it in front of the computer camera if that is what you have to work with. A steady coin and camera works wonders for focus. No matter how steady you think your hand (or camera) is when taking close ups of objects (known as macro photography) it will bounce around if either the camera or the object is in your hand. Doubly so if they are both. Good luck and it could take a few to get it right, which is fine because with digital photos you just delete the bad ones no problem!

Never, unless it's in amazing condition and/or a rare variety. If it was spent, it's probably not in amazing condition.

 

You should be able to tell if it is silver or not.

 

i did the best i could with the pictures. my computer camera does not move so i had to get it close enough for the pictures

 

How much does it weigh and does a magnet stick to it? Won't be able to help on the condition with those blurry photos but if it weighs about 26.7 grams, is 38.1mm in diameter and doesn't stick to a magnet it is probably real.
