Several of thes coins have been hard to put a value on. There aren’t many comps. I’d appreciate opinions you might have. Disclosure. Some estimates are needed, however I won’t quote anyone or mention names. No big deal if no one is comfortable guessing at value. Above is a 1849/8 10c Elij PF 65 NGC 2013 chi
I’m having trouble posting coin tonight. I’ve had horrible computer and iphone Experience for 5 years now. Update. For one main reason Ive Decided to go forward with my project. I haven’t heard once from them in 5 years and I want a Thank You for My Business. I need to know why me.
I agree with Larry. The Kaufman 1849 PR-66 F-107 10c realized 63,250 in 2008, but then only 41,125 in 2012. Given today’s market I’d expect about 45,000 on your PR-65 given the right audience.
I believe you'll find this to be a very common practice for defense lawyers, especially those of limited faculties. I've seen this repeatedly for cases where the judge has apprehension for an assigned hearing, and a full docket. I've personally experienced the court requiring all parties to appear in court at a scheduled time, having a very prominent/expensive remote distance expert required to attend. When the case is called, the local defense asks immediately for a postponement, which is granted by the local judge. Change of venue is often virtually impossible, dictated by Federal/State law. A very expensive tactic to force plaintiff arbitration. When I hear layman claims on this site about legal rights of buyers/sellers, I want to post, but just "roll my eyes", and hope that they someday realize practical experience. The legal system is very limited for expedient practical application, especially in a favoristic community/environment Hugh, I'd personally, for numerous experienced reasons, recommend saving your funds for a possibly overdue vacation, or for acquiring a bridge somewhere which may provide greater satisfaction. Just some history for the fun of it. I believe this was the plate coin for the Bowers and Merena auction back in May of 1996. It brought $16,500. I bid on 16 lots in this auction and lost all but one.
Your coins are awesome Mr. Stiel. Thanks so much for posting. Hope you continue to share them with us as time permits. ☺
