I sent my coins in for attribution It is clearly 2 different ones. I sent them into variety vista. James wiles who's a member. He switched and Altered one to look like mine and a mighty poor job at that. I sent him a picture Enquiring why the coin was different And he proceeded to mark on the photos showing Identification marks. The March are clearly altered not same just in the same location I asked him simply why is the ear different he said it was the same one .What do you think. I wvariety vista theiy are crooks if you are just starting in this hobby you will be taken advantage of and ripped off by James WIiles Variety vista. He requested a photo of him 1st I sent him the photos He agreed to at tribute on he'd be more than happy. I mailed in 8 of them he mailed back out a different ones stating that they were nothing. Why would you Agree to attributions them. Why would someone so supposedly credible do this. 20190215_140217.jpg 20190215_101306.jpg 20190215_101314.jpg 20190215_101318.jpg

Ok, if you really want an opinion here. I would highly recommend you retype your original post with a higher quality of writing. It was hard to follow along to be honest.

I've heard nothing but good things about Mr. Wiles. I have no reason to think otherwise.

I think you should probably re-look at your pictures to see that they are the same, at least they look the same to me. Also, you should probably rethink the things you said about him as I do believe that may be considered slander. I'm not a lawyer though.

A quick English lesson wouldn't hurt either. Good day, sir.

Very true. A well written explanation of the grievances may be taken more seriously.

I see significant differences between the two sets of images, but the differences appear to be entirely the result of shadows cast by light sources being at different locations for each set

Taking that into account, it looks to me like exactly the same coin in both images.

What possible reason would such a respected member of our community have for pulling such a stunt as you seem to think he has? What gain would there be? Maybe you think he is jealous of yours and switched them? I think not.

It's always a good practice to proof read your post before submitting. And try to write your post as if nobody else can read your mind (which we can't), and therefore you need to explain in enough precise detail what you are asking. Of course, the use of punctuation can also help others understand your post more fully. This will lead to less frustration on the part of members who are trying to help you. Finally, beware of spell checker!

I can’t believe that you would have called with such an accusation. I agree that you owe the good doctor an apology.

Meow has noticed any angle of shot, or angle of light differences can make the same coin look vastly different in photos. Meow does not collect halves so does not know; Is this a particularly valuable half worth stealing and counterfeiting?

Apparently you guys are idiots As well as blind
Your an idiot and blind stupid you can't see that the marks on even the same the years not
I wouldn't have the faintest idea he just told me he wanted to attribute them from the photo I sent. As far as the shape and shade and marks any idiot could see that is not the coin completely wrong shape . I agree that angles and shape even the slightest does make a difference on coins. We're talking apples and oranges here any idiot can see that it's different .
