Can anyone help me out on there opinion on if this penny is worth getting graded and what would you think it's value is I'll try to get more pics later but for now I'll send what I do have
Indian.. Not Indiant Check your thread title for errors before hitting Create Thread Also.. No need for multiple threads for the same coin.
Because I think when you're first starting in this hobby, it's kind of a "right of passage". A step up the ladder in the hobby if you will.
But there are some of us that have not felt the need to send a coin to be graded. I will get there but I enjoy the look of a coin in the raw. No plastic to confuse what you are seeing. Just beauty when you know what to look for.
Understand. I've sent in a few to be graded. 2 came back cleaned. Not harsh, but cleaned. The others straight graded. No real surprises.
Nice details, but cleaned, with rim nicks. In this condition, it is not worth the expense of grading even it was problem-free. What @roman99 said. There's no sense in spending $30-40+ to submit a $5-ish coin, particularly since it would never straight-grade at a reputable grading service.
