    QCGCS.COM vs. PNCCSGRADING.COM

I was reading another post and wanted to do some research on the company that slabbed the coins listed in the e-bay auction. To my surprise I found two with the same submission addresses. I wanted to know from the pnccsgrading.com website who CFO, Inc. is but inserting that name and city/state info came back with another coin slabber.

Here is the submission address info for pnccsgrading.com

Send to: CFO, Inc, P.O. Box 205, Ephraim, WI 54211

Same company with different names ...... one charges $9.99 per coin and the other charges $15 per coin

Those pink inserts must cost him $5 more then the blue inserts! :D

I doubt either will stand up as the REAL slabber when you get down to as neither of them is.

    Get my drift?

Can't remember where I saw this but someone posted a link on another coin forum to a site that listed about 107 TPG services. These are growing at an astronimial rate similar to all the books now coming out on coins. It appears this entire mess is sort of like the adds on TV on how to become rich by buying homes with no money down. Only the people that produce this sort of scam are getting rich. Same with these fly by night TPG's

Doncha just love it when a company which is suppose to be 'professional' has a P.O. Box for an address?
Sometimes I can get into a company's depths on the internet and find out things I wish I hadn't discovered.
And to think a lot of them get away with their deceptions so easily.
Guess (was it P.T.Barnum who said this?) 'there's a sucker born every minute'.

I am self-employed. In my business I provide a service that I go to a house to perform. There is no reason for me to have an physical address for my business so and I use a PO Box for the address. And, yes, I consider myself to be "professional".

I suppose then you are not aware that some postal areas require businesses and private individuals to have P.O. Boxes because they will not deliver to individual addresses.

This is very true if the physical address of the business is a rural one...

Not always just rural areas either. For example, Park City, Utah - one of the premier ski resorts in the nation with a population of about 10,000 - the USPS will not deliver to individual addresses. Every single person and business in the town has to use a P.O. Box. There are many other such towns in the US.

A PO box is also a security measure, as it does not give your address if you are working from home. See the home invasion threads here on this forum if you have any doubt.

I stand corrected and I understand fully about needing p.o. boxes. We have one in our little town because we are also rural and we cannot be sure our important mail will reach us. We have to make a four mile round trip to get the mail but it is worth every second and drop of gas to do so.

But he is saying he is shipping from Arizona and his p.o. box for his slabbing company is in Wisconsin. IMO there is something fishy about the whole thing.
Did you go to the PNCCS Grading Co website and see what he asks for information in order to grade your coin? It is pretty much a joke.

Like many of us, I would rather keep my special coin in hand and grade it the best I can for myself than to send it to a shyster and maybe never see it again.
