The bull's head and "EY" point to euboia, however from the overall appearance I wouldn't be surprised if this is a tourist fake...

I just spent a few minutes checking ac search and couldn't find a match. You may want to check yourself: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html
Hopefully I'm wrong, but it does look a bit "mushy" which is a sign of casting...

Thank you for responding. Gorgoneion and the head of a cow is not an good combination.

These appear to be still doing the rounds. I just received an email from someone in Holland who bought one, presuming it was genuine.
The odd thing about that eternal-elegance.com article is that the shop owners describe it (and the matching ring that they sell) as "The pendant carries an exact copy of an ancient Greek coin with a Gorgoneion on one side and a bull’s head on the other."
There is nothing genuine like it in any of my books, pdfs, lists, CoinArchivesPro, etc.
I'll add the one above and the one from today to wildwinds to warn people.

Thanks @Helvetica . Here is an image of the one I bought as a replica for $5 in 2010. spyros-3.jpg
