Help with a Struck Through question?.....

    IMG_6927.JPG IMG_6926.JPG IMG_6929.JPG IMG_6928.JPG I found these two Jefferson nickels at separate times while coin roll hunting. I set them aside to get some advice from my fellow coin talker's. I am leaning towards they are not a struck through only because the one photo shows a minuscule piece of metal that is raised like someone did this after the mint.     Looks like damage. Someone used a punch on that coin to form that circle. Hammered into the coin.

    I'm thinking the same thing however I just want to run it past a few people to make sure I learn from what it actually is. Is it because the metal is displaced in a few areas around the circle?
