New storage for my coins.

Had to get capsules for these. So much safer they won't get all scratched up. the plastic coin flips are not all that. Pluss I have water based heat and that is not good for the coins I'm getting the dime capsules in the mail soon. Makes them look better too. And way better assortment. Mainly for my nickels.

Now I am embarrassed at my storage.... Bunches of Ziplock backs stuffed in Tupperware boxes. Now that I seen your set up I believe I need to up my game!

Don't be embarrassed. I was like that too but I kept miss placing my stuff and almost lost all my wheats at a bank. I have to keep them assorted.

Yes it does. The case it was in was very beat up.

 

I like the idea of putting them in those types of holders. I always push too hard to acquire and then they sit there, improperly stored, and I don't get to enjoy them.

 

That's how I felt about mine how I stored them. Had them in a binder. Couldn't injoy it at all.

Yes. But I got these for 12.00 for 100 capsules. In the album's not as many airtights as I would like.

 

True dat....I like air tights. I have a complete Unc. Set of Jeffersons and a complete proof set of Jeffersons in kointains and mylar flips....then there's set #2 in a dansco album.

 

If I did air-tites my storage setup would cost more than my coin collection.lol

 

Smart move and money well spent. If a coin is worth keeping, it's worth protecting.

 

Where did you find 100 capsules for $12.00 at? Wouldn’t mind getting some for my daughter.
