    The assumption would have to be zinc unless you weigh it and find it is not.

    Do you have a Gram Scale?
    It would help you a lot in determining what post 1982 Cents are.. 2.5 grams is Copper Plated Zinc

    There are 2 or 3 all copper post 1982 Cents that have been found. Called Transitional Errors. They are extremely rare to find. I'm not saying that there are not any more out there but a scale would help you so you don't need to keep creating these threads.

    I ordered a gram scale, I was just using a kitchen digital scale but that wasn't working out to good for me
