Factually Scrooge McDuck would have been severely injured jumping into all of those gold coins of his. Thanks for keeping it real Peter;)

No, don't. It's all good. Really. There is no reason a donor shouldn't be eligible to enter a contest. I wasn't trying to embarrass you. I'm happy to see you enter.

No it's ok. I want more members to get a change to get the prizes.

My accidental eBay purchase several years ago. It was at a very low bid and I thought it would go much higher, so I bid what I thought would be maybe half or less of what would be the final price. Croesus trihemiobol. (My usual price range limit is $25 or less, once a month or less.) I love the history behind it. IMG_9244.JPG IMG_9239.JPG

My prize preferences would be 1,3,2,4,6,7. Win or not, I think it's cool that you do this!

I don't trust mine with silver yet. She has to work up to that level.

Wait...now I don't remember if I mean my cat or my kids...??
She is one of 5 cats in our house. 3 female and 2 male. The oldest male likes to lay on my desk on top of my coins and looks at me like I'm in his way. :woot:
The others have no interest in coins, only sleep and food.

Wow! You're as "rich as Croesus"! Haha. Those "lion and bull" types are tough. Even a teeny-tiny is nice to have.

This is a free entry post for @Randy Abercrombie. He is still free to post another entry post if he likes. If the random number generator in any of the drawings lands on this post OR his official entry post (if he adds one later), he will win either way.

This doubles his chances in each of the seven drawings, but still keeps everything random and fair. (It merely increases his probability of winning something a bit.)

(I owed him a small favor again.)

Ha.... Thank you, LordM..... Not an entry post since I am already entered but this is my funny coin related story...... Four years ago I was struggling and couldn’t sleep. My doctor put me on Ambien for two weeks. A week after I had finished this knock out script I came home one day to find a box on my door step. It was fifty years of mint sets. I had apparently purchased them in the night from Mike Mezak!!! I must have been lucid enough to get my credit card, call these people and place the order, yet absolutely no memory of the event exists in my mind....... Lesson is, if you are ever prescribed Ambien, hide your credit cards!.... Now that I think about it, these may start showing up in future LordM give always!

@Randy Abercrombie, I hit “like” on your Ambien post not because I liked what happened to you but it highlights the crazy stuff that can happen on that medicine; I was hooked on it until the following happened:

My wife heard yelling in the middle of the night. She searched for me and found me on the kitchen floor, naked as a jay bird except for my sleep apnea mask, holding a pair of cargo shorts. I told her I needed help getting them on. She scolded me, said I couldn’t get up at 4 a.m. and helped me back to bed.

In the morning she asked me, “What was that about last night?” I had no recollection whatsoever, and might have doubted her account except I must have fallen trying to get my pants on: I had bruising on my arm and my bum was extremely sore.

I totally get it. At least we can both laugh about our comical misfortune. It sure could have taken a different turn for us both. I’ll never take that stuff again.

You and me both. I’m just glad my wife didn’t take a photo of me lying naked on the floor with my mask on :woot:.

Just another +1 on Ambien being dangerous and better off avoided. Had a scary experience, threw it all in the garbage. Never again. If you look there are plenty of horror stories... a registered nurse prosecuted for running people over in her car with no recollection of it the next day, etc...

    No thanks!

I would say that it was done to look like a beard on the Indian.
