No kidding? The engraved cardboard is outperforming the coins? I think I’ll sell my PM’s and invest in cardboard.

Oh thank you so much. I was gifted a few. Don't know which ones. Lol. Don't want to open the box. Will pass them on to grandbabies. I think they will like the surprise. Daughter bought them for me. She's in So. Africa. And she's not saying. This is why collecting is so fun for everyone

 

I just ordered the Proof Silver Dollar. I also added the Adams and Jefferson Silver Medal. Those two will go with my Silver Washington Medal.

Not sure if this is old news, but just saw something about the Kennedy Set having a packaging error.. Apparently Frank Gasparro was not given proper design credit and as many as 70,000 units were shipped before the error was discovered

 

Also see that the 5 ouncer isn't expected until late October..

 

True. Word is the mint will supply corrected cards, when they become available, to those who request them at no charge . I kinda like my erroneous one.

 

I was finally able to pick myself up a set.

 

Thanks for posting. I never noticed and hadn't heard about it through other channels. Mine has the error... kind of cool. I think it's a keeper ;-)

 

I plan on buying another 1 or 2 of the 5 ouncers if they are still available. I only bought 1 originally.
