    Hello everyone,

Here is the full separation of a few weeks of labor. If some of you recall I was given 5 full coffee cans of pennies from my uncle.... well, actually its for my little girls who will be receiving the fruits of my labor...

As you can see, I have containers for every suggested year:
    Bottom 12 jars contain: 59, 60, 61, 63, 64, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 80, 82
    Middle 6 jars contain: 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, 92
    Top 6 jars contain: 93, 94, 95, 96, 98, 99

    From the left
Red Folgers: Copper pennies - 1981 and earlier
    Red Solo: 2000 pennies
Clear container: 2006 pennies (labeled as such)
Next clear container: Abnormally shiny pennies for an older year
    Smallest clear container: wheat pennies
White AZ Diamondbacks cup: FUBAR pennies (self explanatory)
Clear plastic cup: 2009 pennies (labeled as such)
Clear plastic container: 2010+ "Shield" pennies (labeled as such)
    Red Folgers: post 1981 pennies that are not on the list - 86, 89, 90, 91, 97, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 08

Ah - now on to my question...

My main concern is with the 2 red Folgers containers. There are so many pennies that went into these - I would estimate about half. I have read back and forth that copper pennies are not worth keeping... I don't mind - they are all within one container for now...

My question is however - are there any varieties or pennies I should not be overlooking? I have seen conversations and read stories/posts on pennies that are not in my grand list... Should I further break down the pennies in the red coffee containers - could I be missing out on anything I guess?

There are so many, that it might be more effective to learn in general what doubled dies and rpms, and any others, usually look like, and using a list of major varieties to use as reference. Somewhat depends if you're looking for the slightly uncommon minor varieties, or just the big ones.
