I think it would be cool to expand the Dansco 7070 to include a few earlier types, such as draped bust silver or classic head gold. Has anybody made any creative customized pages for a Dansco album, or is there another album company that I should check out?

Whitman used to make a pair of type set books that had all the non-gold US types. The first book was the "small coins" 1/2 cent through Quarters, and the second book was the large size coins Half dollars and dollars. Something like 111 different holes. Unfortunately they haven't made that book in many years. The numbers were Whitman 9434 and 9435. There are a couple up for sale on ebay at the moment though. 11 posts to go
I added the type ll gold $1, $3, classic head $2.5 and $5 coins to the gold page. Cutting the proper sized holes was a challenge. An extra hole in row one and the other three in row 2 After experimenting with various spade bits and a drill, I finally settled on a hole cutting compass. It makes much clearer holes. Using a second gold page I added: Row 1- a type ll 3 cent piece a no star seated 1837 half dime a no star seated dime and an A&L seated dime. Row 2- a 1986 1/4 oz gold eagle and a 2016 gold Standing Liberty quarter Row 3- a Draped bust quarter and a 1837 modified Matron Head large cent. Row 4 1921 high relief Peace Dollar and a Draped bust half. Some of the holes needed slight enlightenment, but most fit very well. These additional coins satisfied my need to expand the type set.
