Die cracks for sure; on the remote-access display I'm using at the moment, I can't see well enough to tell if there are clashes as well. It's a nice-looking Fine IMO.
Ah, I see the listing. Looks to me like you got a good deal. I wonder if the die cracks put off some other bidders? I see the same date, from the same seller, with considerably less detail, going for more money.
You got to check that seller out. He has 300+ auction listings ending every day. Saturday night is the best time to get deals from him. He is putting out more supply than there is demand. So getting deals from him is very very easy. I would like to bid on all his listings but I would have to be a millionaire to do so. A Saturdays or so ago i got about 12 Morgans from him. The best being $16.50 and worst $19.00 and they were all uncleaned, undamaged, nice detail circulated coins...The best being a 1921 AU-55 Morgan....You cant touch these coins for under $21.00 elsewhere
Perspectively, NGC lists a 1898 Philly in F12 (currently) is $8.00. Almost doesn't seem to be worth the fuss...Spark
