    If you don't know, I'm probably the most avid fan/collector of the Memorial series on this forum. Any time you want to discuss them, let me know!

    Here's a coin that was one of my most difficult to acquire - I like it better than my SVDB, no lie. The SDC (small date copper) 1982 is one of the most difficult to find in high grade in the whole 82 series. Also, for me as lover of toning, this coin was PERFECT for me. 1982lincolnSDCtoner.jpg 1982lincolnSDCtoner2.jpg 1982lincolnSDCtonerREV.jpg 1982lincolnSDCtonerBrev.jpg

    I also have this SDC, mainly because of the reverse strike. It doesn't have that weakness in STATES that seems to plague this issue.

    @BadThad

    Finally got the LD rinsed in acetone and into an airtite. I also found an app to crop the photos. Just need to get a camera as this phone is just tough to get the details.

    Yes in hand it has tons of luster. What are the signs of the VEDS? Is it the die polish lines or the great strike (even for a MAD) or all of the above?:D

    So it has been 1 year to the day since I made my first post and @paddyman98 gave me my first like and pointed out my slight MAD on my 82 LMC and the woody streaking. Here is to many more years and more great coins! One more time for the 82! Thanks for the encouragements and the intellectual stimulation your observations and great coins inspire.
