I have recently gone through a box of pennies and found a 1998 WAM, and a 2000 WAM. I was curious as to what they are each worth. The two WAMs are about MS 62 or 63.

Without pictures we can't give you a proper answer.
98 and 00 WAMs are common and only sell for a few bucks. The die crack is prolly only worth face value.
Again, without pictures, they are all worth face value IMO.

Too bad they're not worth much, I haven't found any yet coin roll hunting and always check. Thrill of the chase still on;)

Yeah. Just thought it was odd. OP says they are MS and then posts pictures with actual grades. Then reposts pictures with the grades blacked out...lol. Either way, only worth a couple of bucks.

    I've found 60ish 98's and 80ish 00's and only 2 99s. They are always fun to find.

Jeeze you've been though a lot of boxes! The 99s are super rare.

I just looked at my records - yeah I keep a notebook of every box/bag/random rolls I've searched... I have searched 619 boxes and 70+ 50 dollar bags. Not sure just how many random loose rolls. Those are just listed in how many dollars worth I searched at that time.

I've only searched 2 boxes so far as well as like 200 other rolls.
I've found 3 2009 DDRs, 12 die cracks, about 20 RPMs, a 1998 WAM, a 2000 WAM, a struck through grease, and an improper alloy mix wheat.

Welcome to Coin Talk! Thanks for sharing the Wide AM's with us. I think you could easily get about $5 for the 98 wide. They are in good condition and if you are looking to sell them. Research the sale prices on ebay to be sure. They sell frequently there. Tip for your 2X2 holders. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and crimp the staples so they aren't sticking out like in your photos. This could cause a scratch on an undeserving coin.

Thanks. I pull all dates with possible errors out first and then I individually check each one with a 16x lense

I do the same. My lens is a 10X, the one I take with me to shows is a 7X illuminated lens and when I search in my office I use a usb microscope attached to my laptop. It's easier on the eyes than looking through a loop often. When I think I have something on the usb, then I break out the loop.

I haven't looked into getting a USB but I may get one at some point. However, searching isn't the worst part, it's rerolling.
