Tell you what. Go find a railroad track to put that coin on. You'd be doing it a favor. It is ugly damage.
@Collecting Nut @paddyman98 @Kasia @GenX Enthusiast Hey,peeps, I changed my mind! Yes, it is a major, major error, and the OP should send it in immediately to PCGS. As a matter of fact, it is so valuable that the OP should request "One Day" service so he can put it in a major auction as quickly as possible. Chris
You just gave me a great idea.. I'm going to start my very own coin attribution service.. Just for PMD coins! I will call the company PPMDG Paddyman Post Mint Damage Guaranteer! Yes!.. I will certify that all of their dremeled, vise job, environmental damage, DDD coins are true PMD's.. I can make a fortune!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! And, when you organize your site on BoobTube, you can use these lyrics for the video...… "This old man, he played two; he played knick-knack on my shoe; with a knick-knack paddy-whack give the dog a bone....." Chris
What was it that changed your mind Chris? The gouges, scrapes, dings, dents, rough edges, Zinc showing or the black spots? Did I miss anything?
Geez @Clawcoins With the colored fonts it almost looks like a post from @Insider You just needed to add some emojis and I would have been completely fooled
I was thinking the same thing! That would be so hard to determine what actually caused the error. The good thing about it would be that you can just go buy change for face value, damage it and then sell it for a profit.lol
