My first thought was...are you kidding with us? If not, it's called a counter stamped coin. Someone did this after it left the Mint. There's probably thousands of different designs commemorating all sorts of events.

I'm talking about how the design is touching his nose which looks doubled die

What design? Do you mean the counter punched NY State that is PMD?

Not sure if you realize that someone punched the NY State Design into that coin sometime after it left the mint? Those counter punched coins are seen all the time and are considered PMD. It may be of some minor additional value to someone who collects them and needs a NY one to fill a hole.

Maybe you do realize that and I'm completely missing your question.

Read the title it's pretty self explanatory

No, it’s not. And your question should not be in the title anyway. We are civilized here.

So, to be clear, you only want to know if the tip of his nose is doubled? Who knows, your picture is too blurry.

Is it known doubling for this year and mm?

Just because the counterstamp (the thing in the shape of New York State, with the State abbreviation NY inside it) is touching or nearly touching (pretty much by accident) Lincoln's nose, it does not make it a doubled die. Doubled dies are mint errors and a combination of a normal, non-error mint coin with a post-mint counterstamp cannot, I repeat, cannot create a doubled die.

Yes, some people put the question in the title, however, if they do, they should clarify and write up a detailed description of what they think they see and what the specific question is.

Just saying doubled die in the title helps no one, including the poster.

    I just can’t anymore.

Seriously? That’s how you ask for someone’s help?

Did you do the research on this coin yourself to see if there any know instances of doubling in this issue or do you want us to do the work for you?

Manners and helping oneself are completely lacking in this day and age.

Hardly! If you think that playing these games will get you anywhere, you're right. BoobTube has plenty of room for you.
