    Ok,

I was just in another thread about ebay loopholes concerning a Titanium Power Seller. I took a look at several of the auctions and noticed several "beautiful" high grade coins in NAC holders.

Checked out the NAC site but wouldn't you know it's under construction.

Here's an MS66 Morgan. Anyone agree with the grade?

Let the opinions flow! Many of you know how much I like many of these slabbers.

    Ha Ha Ha.........

MS66 is a great grade for this coin if someone is depressed and needs a good laugh.

e-bay scams are sad and amusing. No thats not right, they are just sad.

    Well,

Go figure everyone so far thinks it's over graded. Check out the sellers other listings and you'll see A LOT of the same and the way the auctions are worded yet 100% feedback!

"FANTASTIC EQUITY IN THIS COIN!" -- how so?

AT COINMADZ YOU ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY! --Family that you don't really like?

"THE COIN IN THE PHOTOS IS THE ONE YOU WILL RECEIVE!" -- thanks for the warning!

"Question? Do you want to put your money in the actual coin or in the fancy name on the holder? We have quality US coins at very affordable prices, use your head, don’t pay inflated prices just because of the name on the holder."

I really like that one, buy the coin not the holder in a warped perspective. Why not just say "If this were in a real holder it might make MS60 and you'd pay a lot less" In an NAC holder it's MS66 therefore a more valuable coin?"

"If you purchase twenty or more coins and pay at the same time you will receive a USED PCGS storage box instead of the gold boxes." -- That really confuses me. We'll send you a box from a legitimate TPG?

Now in real tiny print we find:

"By bidding on the item you agree to the following terms and conditions. (1) Seller reserves the right to reject the bid and refund any monies paid if the item was incorrectly identified or is no longer available (2) Since all numbering is subjective, you are advised to closely examine the photo. In the event you submit a bid, the transaction and any disputes hereunder shall be interpreted and construed according to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and, if litigation ensues, proper venue will lie in the Court of Common Please of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, you agree to accept service of all court actions by regular US mail; and (3) You agree to follow all of eBay’s feedback guidelines (4) Seller shall not be liable to the buyer for more than the purchase price. (5) You agree that all communication shall go through the eBay message and not private emails during the transaction. (6) You agree to be legally bound by the terms listed herein and all other laws and rules set by eBay or any other governing authority."

    ...and finally

    "User ID kept private"

This all makes me want to...

"Be sure to add me to your favorites list!"

Naturally all of my above statements are my opinion only.

    What's yours?

This is the guy who dissed me when I asked if one of his coins was cleaned. (See other thread). I found out later he blocked me from bidding on his stuff. He may be a member or a lurker here at CT. His family values and the cute kittens he uses on all his auctions make me sick to my stomach to think he uses these tactics to rip off honest, if not unknowing, coin collectors who are looking for quality coins to buy on line. I've been keeping an eye on this one because I feel his attitude is deteriorating and he's going to go for broke, take a lot of people and bail out of ebay. Maybe just to change his ID.

Blocking your bids was probably a blessing Bruce. Ties in real well with the User ID kept private don't you think?

    My opinions of course.

Just for your information, the grader (slabber) and seller are one and the same. Go to the Pa. Dept of State website and then to Corporations. When you enter Numismatic Authentication Company (NAC) Entity #3720493, you will see that the owner is the person who sells these slabs. Then go to toolhaus.org and see how he gets rid of the negatives posted against him.....yes....by threatening suit. I will give him credit though for being shrewd, but not necessarily ethical. If it seems to good to be true......

Thanks for the great information. I think the most disturbing thing you pointed out is the toolhaus.org, obviously mr. coinmadz has been utilizing their service or something similar.
