Miss stamped quarter

    Hi, my daughter killed my washing machine. That's ok I love her anyway. So, I dumped a plastic water jug of coins on my bed looking for quarters. I came across this quarter, it has a date 1991. Can someone tell how to describe this coin. I added some pictures ,sorry for the poor quality.Thanks viteye

    It's damaged - probably out of the washing machine,
    or buried. The surfaces are now 'environmentally damaged'.

    Not an error of any kind, I'm sorry to say.

    Maybe some heat damage that affected the Clad Layer. Separated the Clad from the Copper core.
